Your role in helping us shape the future:


As our Total Rewards Analyst supporting the team you will collaborate across our global Human Resources team and perform, valued and relied upon critical support in administering and analyzing the organization's benefits and compensation programs. This role will support design, implementation and communication of the Company’s total rewards programs.  The role is based in Tysons Corner, VA and reports to the Manager, Benefits.


Can you drive these processes?

  • You are passionate about the goal of providing overall well-being support to the employee population and administering Intelsat’s benefits programs (e.g., medical, dental, vision, retirement savings, life insurance, disability)
  • You are diligent with reconciling benefit plans including biweekly employee changes, 401(k), billing reconciliation and international employee reimbursements
  • You enjoy presenting to new employees to conduct new hire benefits orientation weekly to ensure new hires have a solid comprehension of Intelsat’s stellar benefits offerings and ensure ease of set up
  • With your focus on accuracy you confirm employee selections, and ensure that applicable paperwork is collected, and records are accurate, collaborating across HR
  • You enjoy assisting with writing communications pieces for benefits and compensation programs
  • With a focus on well-being plan success you assist with wellness programs, people, and activities to help ensure the best mental and physical health possible of our employees
  • You conduct open enrollment and ensure plan changes are appropriately communicated. You enjoy helping answer employee questions to educate employees on type of coverages and other benefit programs
  • You are a trusted partner with vendors and assist with vendor data requests
  • You review market data and benchmark jobs to prepare compensation offer summaries
  • You participate in salary surveys and maintain the Company salary survey database
  • With your focus on detail, you calculate compensation payouts and prepare employee compensation exhibits
  • With your passion for employee engagement, you enhance our employee recognition program and promote recognition activity  
  • You assist in ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations



You should definitely have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Business or related field
  • Minimum of three years related experience in benefits, compensation or related HR rewards program administration and analysis
  • A penchant for diligence and excellence in following policies and procedures
  • Positive people-person with a can-do attitude who thrives in fast-paced environment
  • A desire for feedback and preference towards working in teams focused on training and professional development
  • Team-oriented with a penchant for collaborating and providing recommendations to the team
  • Impeccable organizational skills, attention to detail and diligence with follow up
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office Suite



It would be nice if you had

  • International benefits and / or compensation plan administration experience
  • Demonstrated interest or experience in administering retirement plans, equity or sales incentive compensation plans
