Your role in helping us shape the future:


As a leading contributor critical to the success of the Sales team, you will drive various sales and channel effectiveness initiatives aimed at transforming how Intelsat’s sales organization approaches the market and engages with prospects and customers to increase sales and productivity.


In this role, you will be responsible for the development and execution of sales enablement programs to improve the capability and performance of our global sales team.  You will ensure that our sales team is equipped with  knowledge of our products and strong sales skills to be successful You will collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Sales Operations, Human Resources and other departments to create, implement and manage scalable sales enablement programs.  


This role will require you to gain a deep understanding of Intelsat’s sales objectives, partner with key stakeholders to develop relevant content and resources to support our sellers on-going skill development, measure and report on the impact of enablement programs implemented, possess strong facilitation skills and be accountable for establishing effective knowledge sharing, skill development and collaboration methods throughout a global and diverse sales organization.

Are you up to the challenge?

Sales Asset Management

  • In close collaboration with Product and Marketing teams, you will align the training materials and ensure consistency and uniformity with customer proposal templates
  • You will develop tools to ensure availability of sales materials and with maintaining customer historic information
  • You will collaborate with the Sales Operations team to ensure integration of sales training into the CRM system

Sales Learning & Development

  • In partnership with Human Resources and the Learning and Development team, you will design, develop and execute an integrated sales training program as well as specific on-boarding program from new Sellers
  • You will assess the range of Sales roles with a focus on their development needs and the skills required to align the Sales curriculum to future needs.

Sales Performance Management

  • You will track and manage training program adoption success and track measurements to define sales enablement best practices at Intelsat
  • You will set appropriate team KPIs and provide monthly metrics reports to identify skill gaps.


Can you drive these processes?

  • You will stay on top of trends, share industry best practices and provide recommendations on enablement tools, current training programs and processes
  • You will provide leadership, coaching and support to colleagues, with particular emphasis on new employees
  • You are ready to provide or facilitate on-going training to ensure the Sales team effectively leverages our marketing and training materials
  • You will act as a liaison between Sales, Product Marketing and Regional Marketing teams to facilitate successful implementations of new programs/products by ensuring a well-defined, efficient sales process is in place for launch


You should definitely have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing or related field
  • At least 5-years of related experience in a sales enablement and training role in a multi-channel, B2B sales environment
  • Strong CRM familiarity and adoption, Salesforce.com preferred
  • Exceptional coordination skills to work in a diverse and global environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills across diverse audiences
  • Self-starter, results driven, motivated, creative and resourceful
  • Manage multiple assignments simultaneously while working with cross-functional leaders and team members
  • Excellent relationship management skills.


It would be nice if you had:

  • Quotas carrying sales Experience developing / managing Enterprise satellite products and solutions
  • International experience
