Principal Sales Operations Analyst

Are you up to the challenge?

  • Set quotas for all sales professional in the Sales Incentive Plan (SIP) and fine-tune quotas throughout the year based on territory changes
  • Track achievement credit and quota attainments
  • Own the monthly sales pipeline review deck and associated ad hoc analyses
  • Forecast year-end sales performance
  • Own the SIP project on Tableau for sales performance visualization
  • Partner with accounting for SIP related audits
  • Improve the transparency and completeness of the SIP achievement tracking process
  • Provide recommendations to SIP committee review items by partnering with HR

 

Can you drive these processes?

  • Forecast and report actuals for individual and team sales performance.  Highlight key observations to sales leadership;
  • Assist with territory management of sales leaders;
  • Recommend improvements of sales performance tracking and quota design;
  • Act as subject matter expert for questions/inquiries Sales Incentive Plan and sales pipeline analyses;
  • Continuously analyze workflows for improvement areas and recommend transformative changes to our commercial processes.

 

You should definitely have:

  • Bachelor's Degree with at least five years of relevant experience in sales analytics; (an Advanced Degree with at least three years of relevant experience in sales analytics will be considered)
  • Experience in accurately manipulating large data sets and working within a Data Warehouse; and the ability to connect the data points with process flows;
  • Effective verbal and written English language communication skills, with the ability to clearly describe business situations, process gaps, and trends, and present information to audiences across a wide range of roles and functions;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to rapidly establish and maintain highly productive working relationships at all levels across the company;
  • Proficient computer skills – must be comfortable using CRM tools, service booking applications, spreadsheets and reporting tools (Tableau);
  • Flexibility and persistence – you don’t give up at the first sign of challenges;
  • Diagnostic thought process – you dig deeper and identify root causes;
  • Ability to apply judgment - on when to flag and escalate issues;
  • Superior problem-solving skills;
  • Process orientation and strong personal quality assurance processes.

 

It would be nice if you had:

  • Additional years of relevant experience
  • Experience working within cross-functional, culturally diverse teams;
  • Experience with Salesforce.com;
  • Experience with reporting sales performance
