As the subject-matter expert for Intelsat's next-generation 3GPP Access network, you will lead development of a clear technology roadmap to offer mobility services that surpass any the satellite industry has offered to date, while ensuring seamless integration between the terrestrial and space-based components with a standards-compliant architecture. Successful execution of the technology roadmap will be ensured with your leadership across the organization. To achieve the desired results, you will support the product team in the ideation stage and network engineering in the planning, implementation, and launch stages of the product development life cycle.

Are you up to the challenge?

  • Align technology initiatives with the corporate strategy and communicate this strategy with key stakeholders to lead program execution throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with other technology leaders to author Requests for Proposals and define solutions for product enablement of new network services.
  • Identify technologies, systems, and processes to reduce CAPEX and OPEX, then create technical documentation and presentations to effectively communicate your ideas.
  • Lead ideation of mobile access architectures and identify the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to benchmark alternative solutions for Intelsat’s mobile network core.
  • Oversee the evaluation of non-3GPP access network technologies with thorough test plans to be executed in collaboration with the Development Engineering team.
  • Participate in 3GPP RAN workgroups to ensure Intelsat’s compliance with relevant standards for 4G/LTE and 5G access networks.
  • Provide subject-matter expertise for Intelsat’s technology roadmap, including 4G and 5G network technologies to be leveraged for mobility use cases.
  • Work with key stakeholders to design a 4G/5G access network that integrates seamlessly with Intelsat’s terrestrial network and ensure successful implementation.

Can you drive these processes?

  • Ideation of new products and services enabled with a 4G/LTE and 5G access networks
  • Lead innovation initiatives through the product development lifecycle
