Your role in helping us shape the future:

Serve as a liaison between business operations and the Finance organization, analyzing, reporting and interpreting financial data to support informed decision making.  Partner with colleagues from multiple internal groups to investigate the underlying drivers for the company’s performance.  Interact with management on a regular basis to deliver financial updates and develop budgets and forecasts.  Strengthen and implement financial tools, metrics and processes to drive operating performance.  Access data from a variety of systems and present accurate, meaningful and relevant information to a diverse audience.

Are you up to the challenge?

  • Produce monthly financial results packages for budget holders and analyze business drivers of material variances; work with manager and partners to establish action plans to address 
  • Develop operating expense and capital budgets in coordination with business partners and consolidate, analyze, revise and present submissions to manager
  • Periodically update financial forecasts based on new information or changes to the business
  • Support development of long-term strategic plan
  • Work with Accounting to develop necessary accruals and ensure reported results accurately reflect true expenses and comply with GAAP standards
  • Perform ad hoc financial analyses to help drive cost structure improvement


Can you drive these processes?

  • Assist with the implementation and administration of FP&A's budget software
  • Assist with analytical support for Business Unit summaries, business cases, cash reporting and other activities
  • Provide support for external reporting of quarterly financial results


You should definitely have:

  • Must have a Bachelors’ Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field with at least one cumulative year of experience with practical financial planning & analysis, accounting principles (including month-end close, accruals and charts for accounts optimization) and/or development of budget and forecast projections
  • Must be able to analyze operational data and develop timely and accurate presentations of the results (including design of informative tables and graphs where appropriate)
  • Strong written and oral communication skills required, including the ability to convey financial meaning and implications of reported data in succinct terms
  • Strong organizational skills required, including the ability to manage priorities and complete multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to anticipate issues and follow through until they are resolved
  • Must be able to work cross-functionally to analyze reporting requirements and develop an efficient process to meet them
  • Must be able to work autonomously, i.e. recognize what needs to be done and do it with limited guidance from management
  • Advanced Excel (Pivot tables, Vlookup, INDEX MATCH, array formulas, conditional formatting, etc) & PowerPoint skills required; experience with Business Objects and budgeting software helpful
