Senior Inside Sales Specialist

Your role in helping us shape the future:

You will be a key member and valuable contributor within our sales team. You will provide stellar service to key customers by adopting and driving a consultative sales approach within the strategic accounts. 

In this role you will have the opportunity to identify customer needs and provide valuable insights to our Sales and Management Team to tailor personalized solutions for each customer.

 

Are you up to the challenge?

  • Use your good questioning skills while contacting leads proactively to identify needs and follow-up requests.
  • You use your senior level expertise to handle more complex or larger accounts.
  • You answer calls from customers requesting pricing, availability and other information
  • You collaborate with multiple departments to find creative solutions to customer requests
  • Use your excellent presentation skills to offer solutions to customers in face-to-face interactions and/or via phone and/or email proposals
  • You manage a portfolio of upcoming renewals for assigned contracts aiming to get successful renewals with each customer at appropriate pricing and terms.
  • Use your analytical skills to evaluate problem accounts and recommend creative solutions. You work with the Managing Sales Director (MSD) to develop strategies to obtain specific market shares.
  • You develop deep relationships with Channel Partners.

 

Can you drive these processes?

You update SalesForce.com (SFDC) on an ongoing basis to correctly reflect status of opportunities, contacts and campaigns. You support the MSD in developing, implementing and maintaining Inside Sales policies and procedures. You constantly look for ways to improve processes and increase the accuracy and effectiveness of the Inside Sales function. You develop and update a rolling 3-moths plan and review it on a monthly basis with assigned Sales Directors (SD) and MSD. You provide backup for designated sales directors when out of the office or on vacation.

 

You should definitely have:

  • At least 5 years of experience in a sales or sales related function
  • 4-year college degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong people skills and ability to build rapport and maintain relationships with customers and internally with the organization
  • Good questioning skills to identify customer needs
  • Energetic and self-motivated person that takes initiative
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to make successful and creative presentations to both internal management and customers
  • Good time management skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Basic understanding of satellite communications or aptitude to learn these concepts

It would be nice if you had:

  • Knowledge of a second language
