Your role in helping us shape the future:

 

You will be a key member of our sales team. You are a pro at identifying, developing and managing new and ongoing business. You will play a critical role in building and sustaining strategic Customer and Partner relationships. You faced significant quotas in the past and you are up for the next challenge.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to represent Intelsat’s brand innovatively and strategically in order to fulfill every client’s need.

  • You understand market trends and rapidly align Intelsat’s opportunities in the market in order to substantially grow the future of our product and service suit.
  • As a great negotiator you lead contract negotiations for critical accounts to ensure that contracts are financially sound, aligned with company objectives and meet customer requirements.
  • Use your excellent business acumen skills to maximize profitable contract revenue over time and manage existing accounts to broaden and deepen the company’s business base.
  • You keep existing and potential customers up to date with the latest Intelsat sales proposals and marketing materials.

 

Can you drive these processes?

You provide regular reports to Intelsat Management on the status of your projects/accounts, advise on customer-related issues and update the information on Sales.Force.com. You know by heart Intelsat’s products and sales services applicable for your customers. You assist the Product Marketing with the development of collateral and training. You are looking forward to travelling internationally as required. 

 

You should definitely have:

  • Four-year university degree
  • 5-8 years of sales experience ideally in the telecommunications, satellite communications or media industry
  • Specific experience closing high $ value deals working with a wide range of costumers
  • Ability to work with little supervision
  • Outstanding interpersonal and networking skills
  • Creativity in approaching complex competitive market
  • Ability to work under pressure and deadlines
  • Fluency in English
  • Fluency in French
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to support the full sales life-cycle
  • Great organizational skills
  • Ability to travel frequently

It would be nice if you had:

  • Exposure to the satellite telecommunications industry
  • Knowledge of any additional language (e.g. Arabic)
