Senior Commercial Financial Analyst - North America - Gogo Commercial Aviation

Your role in helping us shape the future:

You will play a vital role in ensuring the commercial success of the CA organization.  You should have a strong desire to impact the financial health and strategic direction of the company through creative financial analysis, strategic planning, and partnering with the sales and account organizations.

Your responsibilities include financial modeling, revenue planning/forecasting, and monthly close support.  You will have high visibility to entire commercial organization as well as CA leadership.

Are you up to the challenge?

• Use your creativity and financial modeling skills to help analyze commercial proposals.
• Leverage data and market trends to look out into the future and develop revenue plans and forecasts.
• Support the analysis for business case evaluation for commercial deals with current and prospective airline/strategic partners to enable profitable revenue growth.
• Align with key partners in Strategy and Engineering/Satcom to ensure proper consideration of capacity utilization into deal models.
• Support monthly/quarterly revenue analysis by airline and for CA in total for review and assessment of strategic considerations by CA executive management and the Intelsat CFO. 
• Assist in the monthly revenue close process

Can you drive these processes?

Supporting the manager of the North America region; modeling commercial proposals, revenue forecasting/planning, and monthly close activities.

You should definitely have:

• Strong financial modeling skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field
• 3-7 years of experience in Finance or Accounting
• Working knowledge of all three financial statements and how they relate
• Ability to communicate effectively across a broad stakeholder group

It would be nice if you had:

•           Experience using financial management systems, preferably Hyperion

•           Familiarity with GAAP accounting principles
